August 2011 Congratulations to Andrew Wiley on moving up in status! He will now be on duty Wednesday nights (Crew 4) as a probationary firefighter for the next few months as well as continuing to be our webmaster.
Firefighter Brad Craddock will be leaving us to start basic boot camp in the army. We wish him the best of luck. Congratulations to Brad as well for achieving Life Member status with us as well. February 28, 2010: Stony Point bids goodbye to the old Engine 62 which had been kept on reserve. E62 was recently purchased by a volunteer fire department in Texas and will continue to save lives and serve its new home.
February 21, 2010: T69 assisted the Earlysville Volunteer Fire Company with water supply operations at a residential structure fire on Buck Mountain Road
January 31, 2010: Members of the Stony Point Volunteer Fire Company took to the waters of a local pond to conduct ice rescue training in the event someone enters the frigid water and needs assistance.
